HE is Risen!

First Lost Tooth!

For 3 weeks we waited and waited for her first loose tooth to fall out....she would wiggle it daily and it would loosen up a little more each day. But after 3 weeks, I decided to take action with a little help from my good friend Rebecca (she actually did the dirty work for me...what a good friend...love you Rebecca). We went into the bathroom and Ms. Rebecca tied a pretty bow around Makayla's wiggly tooth and one quick little pull it was finished. There was a tiny bit of crying....but once we started talking about the tooth fairy Makayla forgot all about the blood and became VERY excited over her very first lost tooth! Such a brave little girl-so proud of you Bayla :)

This little stinker totally know's that what she is doing is wrong...so off to timeout she goes, while I scrub her baby with a magic eraser (which works beautifully). No more crayons for Aubs for a while.....

Such a sweet little girl you are...full of life and energy and TALKING ALLLLLLLL the time! You are always making us laugh with your silly little spirit...you are quiet the go getter and love to get a reaction from your sister....we just can't imagine our lives without you Aubrey Renae!

Camping 2009 Bishop Creek

Our first camping trip with Aubrey....actually our first camping trip in about 4 years....we had a wonderful time camping, the girls got supper dirty, and stayed up late, and still woke up early....we had lots of yummy food and shared some good laughs around the campfire once all the little one's were in bed :) there were even some bears in camp, but I felt safe inside our rented trailer. Our First Cruise

3 glorious nights with my hubby and amazing friends....what more could a girl ask for. We had such an outstanding time....laughing, eating, sleeping, eating, relaxing, eating...you get the picture :o) Jamen and I celebrated 13 years of marriage while on the cruise....what a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary, I could do this every year. Love you JDW!!!

4th of July

We spent our 4th of July up in Bishop this year. Here are some pictures taken of the girls in Nana and Papa's front yard.

"I'm not tired"

A day filled with lots of whining....arguing with her sister.....and just plane ol' grumps....after making several suggestions of how Makayla could spend her quiet time this is how I found her on the couch...still standing one leg, mind you. Right before I went in the laundry room to put clothes in the dryer I asked Makayla if she was tired...."I'm not tired" she says.....of course not I thought as I snapped this picture :)
